What our mock interview coaching clients say

Amy's photo Amy got an offer at
Techcyte
I did get an offer. Actually, I got 3! I worked with a coach named Emily and she was amazing. With her help, I moved to a Senior PO role at a remote company with amazing benefits and got a salary increase of 65% over my previous position. I am so glad I worked with her, she helped me so much!
Humaira's photo Humaira got an offer at
Google

I was uncertain on where to focus my prep time. I had two coaching sessions - one on technical concepts which helped a ton and the other on product design which gave me a good framework.

BCG McKinsey & Company
I was really short on time because I only had a total of 3 weeks to prep. IGotAnOffer was a one stop shop that had all the resources that I needed for my prep. Feedback from the coaches, specifically Tara, was phenomenal.
Diana's photo Diana got an offer at
Meta
My biggest challenge was my lack of confidence. Coaching with Sree really helped me build that confidence by understanding what questions to expect in the interviews. I ended up getting an offer from Meta thanks to her help.
Siddhartha's photo Siddhartha got an offer at

I did mock interviews on IGotAnOffer to get a sense of my current level and to improve my behavioral answers. If you spend $5k on mock interviews but receive a TC that’s $50k more ... that’s high ROI!
Daniela's photo Daniela got an offer at
Study Edge
Staying motivated during the interview process felt really hard. The feedback I got was priceless, and being able to practice with someone that's already done this and has lots of experience is great.
Abass got an offer 🎉 🥳 🎊
I interviewed with 2 companies and got offers from both. Even though I am a seasoned consultant I found using IGotAnOffer to be great for preparation and validating and refreshing my knowledge.
Jean's photo Jean got an offer at
Meta

I had been in my previous job for 7 years and my interview skills were VERY lacking... I needed an honest and blunt assessment of my interview skills, with actionable feedback on how to improve. We only have one shot at interviewing with big tech companies, because if we fail we usually can't reapply for 6 to 12 months...

Lyft Meta Amazon Apple

I got offers from Apple, Google and Lyft! I'm completing my onsites for Meta and Amazon this week.

The mock interviews provided by this platform have been instrumental in my preparation for these interviews!

FAQs

Can I use credits with any coach?

Yes you can use credits with any coach.

Are credits refundable?

Yes, unused credits can be refunded within 30 days of getting purchased. After 30 days the credits cannot be refunded anymore, but you can still use them at any point in the future.

If you do get a refund it will be corrected for the discount you initially got. As an example, imagine you have purchased 10 credits, and paid 10 x $48 = $480. If you end up only using 5 credits, we will refund you the difference between what you have paid ($480), and what you would have paid had you purchased 5 credits (5 x $50 = $250). So in this specific example we would refund: $480 - $250 = $230.

What is your cancellation, "no show" and rescheduling policy?

You can cancel or reschedule coaching sessions for free as long as you do so more than 24 hours before the start of your session.

Within 24 hours, it is not be possible to reschedule or cancel your session.

If you fail to attend a coaching session or are more than 15mins late, the session will be considered a "no show" and will be counted as having been used.

How much can you really get done in 1h?

One hour might not seem like a lot. But coaches are used to making the most of the time. They’ll come ready to the session so you can cover the topics that are important to you and walk away with concrete next steps.

The coaches look intimidating, are they going to judge me?

Coaches’ bios might look intimidating because some of them have worked at big companies and have senior titles. But they’re all genuinely interested in helping you out. They’re here for you, will show empathy, and do their best to help you achieve your goals.

Ask coaches for advice on interviews, resumes, etc.

What are the technical and leadership expectations for an E5 Senior Software Engineer at Meta?

Top answer by
Profile picture for Luis D.
Luis D.

E5s are Meta's workhorses. Therefore, they have to be very productive and own the subsystem technical direction. They need to lead E4s and E3s along with collaborating with E6s. They need to be driven to action, work on their features and support other engineers when SEVs (site events) occur. They're also expected to participate in org wide initiatives and help streamline the developer experience and operational excellence initiatives

How can I ace my DoorDash PM interview?

Top answer by
Profile picture for Aamna K.
Aamna K.

DoorDash essentially provides candidates with a lot of information about its product sense and product prioritization rounds, so I think they're really looking for a sharp, structured answer that covers everything they're looking for. I think there is slightly less room for error there compared to product case rounds at other companies. DoorDash places a huge emphasis on success metrics, experimentation, and navigating the complexities of a 3-sided marketplace like the one they operate in. Their margins are razor-thin, so it's really important to get the combination of supply, demand, pricing (and user experience) right to win and beat out competition.

How do Operations case interviews differ from traditional Strategy case interviews?

Top answer by
Profile picture for James T.
James T.

Ops cases focus on how to improve performance within existing constraints vs. strategy cases which emphasize what direction the company should take. Expect to dive into KPIs like throughput, utilization, downtime, or unit costs—not just revenue growth or market share. Ops often deal with short-term fixes and real-time trade-offs, while strategy cases are more long-term. You’re diagnosing inefficiencies, not just testing strategic options - requiring sharper analytical breakdowns and logic trees.

What specific tips and habits will help me stand out during Google interviews as a tech candidate?

Top answer by
Profile picture for Yu-Sheng L.
Yu-Sheng L.

For coding interviews: (1) always think out loud by explaining your thoughts to the interviewer, especially when stuck or unsure. (2) make sure the interviewer understands your idea before diving into implementation. (3) write code in a top-down fashion, which means you can make calls to non-existent functions and fill in the details later, to maximize the chance of completing the main scaffolding. For behavioral interviews: (1) study and practice the STAR framework (2) think about and list out as many past projects/experiences as possible (3) be honest. To stand out: pretend the interviewer is your colleague, demonstrate 'Googleyness', and prepare questions to ask.

How does the jam session work at an Uber PM interview?

Top answer by
Profile picture for Jatin G.
Jatin G.

Typically, candidates receive a case/problem statement about a week in advance. Candidates are expected to prepare a response, often in the form of a presentation or document. The actual jam session usually involves 2-3 interviewers from the team. The focus is less about arriving at the “perfect” answer and more about: The framework and structure used to approach the problem Depth of thinking Consideration of edge cases and operational realities Product judgment and prioritization Ability to incorporate feedback live during discussion Collaboration style and communication Whether the person seems easy to work with

How should I negotiate my salary as a product manager?

Top answer by
Profile picture for Yue W.
Yue W.

Negotiate collaboratively. Base salary is hardest to negotiate (strict internal bands), Equity is easier, sign-On Bonus is easiest because it comes from a one-time expense pool. Use 70/30 rule (listen 70% of time, ask diagnostic questions). Give a conditional commitment ('If we bring base to $X / add $Y sign-on, I am ready to sign today') but only do this if you are 100% prepared to follow through. If the recruiter or hiring manager goes to bat with their comp committee, gets approval for your exact request, and you backtrack or ask for more, backing out can destroy trust before you even start the job. If you read only one book on negotiation, make it Never Split the Difference by Chris Voss. Two of the most relevant tactical takeaways for salary discussions from the book: Use precise, non-round numbers: A specific number, like $182,500 or $183,400, are more likely to be the result of careful calculation and research. Round numbers (like $180,000) look like guesses and are easier to negotiate down. Manage ranges strategically: If you must give a compensation range early on, know that the employer could very much anchor towards the bottom of the range. If your true target is $185k, make sure it’s included on the lower side of your range.
