I did get an offer. Actually, I got 3! I worked with a coach named Emily and she was amazing. With her help, I moved to a Senior PO role at a remote company with amazing benefits and got a salary increase of 65% over my previous position. I am so glad I worked with her, she helped me so much!

I was uncertain on where to focus my prep time. I had two coaching sessions - one on technical concepts which helped a ton and the other on product design which gave me a good framework.

I was really short on time because I only had a total of 3 weeks to prep. IGotAnOffer was a one stop shop that had all the resources that I needed for my prep. Feedback from the coaches, specifically Tara, was phenomenal.

My biggest challenge was my lack of confidence. Coaching with Sree really helped me build that confidence by understanding what questions to expect in the interviews. I ended up getting an offer from Meta thanks to her help.

I did mock interviews on IGotAnOffer to get a sense of my current level and to improve my behavioral answers. If you spend $5k on mock interviews but receive a TC that’s $50k more ... that’s high ROI!

Staying motivated during the interview process felt really hard. The feedback I got was priceless, and being able to practice with someone that's already done this and has lots of experience is great.
Abass got an offer 🎉 🥳 🎊
I interviewed with 2 companies and got offers from both. Even though I am a seasoned consultant I found using IGotAnOffer to be great for preparation and validating and refreshing my knowledge.

I had been in my previous job for 7 years and my interview skills were VERY lacking... I needed an honest and blunt assessment of my interview skills, with actionable feedback on how to improve. We only have one shot at interviewing with big tech companies, because if we fail we usually can't reapply for 6 to 12 months...

FAQs

How should I prepare for a behavioral interview?

Behavioral interviews test how you've handled real-world situations in the past as a way to predict how you’re likely to perform in the future. At top companies, these interviews are taken very seriously and are just as important as technical rounds.

To prepare effectively, you’ll need to:

  • Understand what interviewers are looking for. At Amazon, for example, behavioral interviews are based around the company’s 16 Leadership Principles. Other companies have similar core values that they use to guide hiring decisions. You’ll be evaluated on how well your answers reflect the behaviors they value—such as ownership, customer obsession, and delivering results.
  • Identify your key stories. Prepare 8–10 strong examples that reflect different situations—such as leading a project, handling conflict, making a tough decision, or learning from failure. Choose stories that demonstrate both impact and your approach.
  • Use a structured format. Interviewers expect well-organized...
What are Behavioral mock interviews?
Behavioral mock interviews are practice sessions designed to simulate real interviews. You’re interviewed by someone who plays the role of a hiring manager or experienced Behavioral interviewer, and you get detailed feedback afterward. It's run like a real interview, so you can get used to the pressure, timing, and expectations of the real thing.

Mock interviews can help you to:

  • Practice under realistic pressure, think on your feet and get used to answering Behavioral questions out loud, not just in your head.
  • Get expert feedback. A good mock interviewer will tell you how to improve, what’s missing, and what top companies are really looking for.
  • Gain company-specific insights. If you pick a mock interview coach who has run Behavioral interviews at your target company, they can tell you exactly what to expect.
  • Increase confidence. Practicing...
