What our resume review clients say

Patricia • Senior product manager
I wasn’t getting any traction — no calls, no interviews, and no responses to the applications I was sending out. That completely changed after my first session with Julia, where she reviewed and helped me revamp my resume. Almost immediately after implementing her suggestions, I started receiving responses from recruiters and companies.
Juan • Security engineer
Jai was really helpful in pointing out key elements that I was missing in my resume. It was a great conversation and left me with clear action items to improve my resume.
Jenny • Product manager
Emily completely changed the way I thought about presenting myself in a resume. Incredibly helpful, efficient, gave actionable feedback based on my goals. I only regret not doing this sooner.
Lucy • Senior data scientist
Swapnika is patient and amazing! She’s able to effectively brainstorm clear and actionable bullet points for my resume.
Stuart • CEO
It was phenomenally helpful to have Julia's stream of consciousness as she read through my resume - she gave me a lot to consider regarding my own positioning with respect to my career, and surfaced topics I hadn't considered.
Swaraj • Staff product manager
The session with Gaurav was super helpful and provided me with great clarity on my mistakes. It has helped me make my resume 10x better.
Sergio • Business intelligence engineer
Eran provided invaluable insights that reshaped my resume. He identified key transferable skills and reframed my experience to better align with my career goals. I highly recommend his coaching!
Ilya • Software engineer
Tom was an excellent listener who offered fresh and innovative ideas for standing out in the competitive tech job market. He provided valuable insights into different strategies I can explore to get my foot in the door, as well as constructive feedback on the structure and content of my resume and cover letters. His advice has given me a clear direction for improvement.
Muaz • Product manager
Emily is an exceptional coach who meets you exactly where you are in your career journey. From the start, she asked what I needed help with and tailored the entire session to address my specific needs. Her feedback significantly improved my resume, resulting in more responses to my job applications.

FAQs

Can I use credits with any coach?

Yes you can use credits with any coach.

Are credits refundable?

Yes, unused credits can be refunded within 30 days of getting purchased. After 30 days the credits cannot be refunded anymore, but you can still use them at any point in the future.

If you do get a refund it will be corrected for the discount you initially got. As an example, imagine you have purchased 10 credits, and paid 10 x $48 = $480. If you end up only using 5 credits, we will refund you the difference between what you have paid ($480), and what you would have paid had you purchased 5 credits (5 x $50 = $250). So in this specific example we would refund: $480 - $250 = $230.

What is your cancellation, "no show" and rescheduling policy?

You can cancel or reschedule coaching sessions for free as long as you do so more than 24 hours before the start of your session.

Within 24 hours, it is not be possible to reschedule or cancel your session.

If you fail to attend a coaching session or are more than 15mins late, the session will be considered a "no show" and will be counted as having been used.

How much can you really get done in 1h?

One hour might not seem like a lot. But coaches are used to making the most of the time. They’ll come ready to the session so you can cover the topics that are important to you and walk away with concrete next steps.

The coaches look intimidating, are they going to judge me?

Coaches’ bios might look intimidating because some of them have worked at big companies and have senior titles. But they’re all genuinely interested in helping you out. They’re here for you, will show empathy, and do their best to help you achieve your goals.

Ask coaches for advice on interviews, resumes, etc.

How should I negotiate my salary as a product manager?

Top answer by
Profile picture for Yue W.
Yue W.

Negotiate collaboratively. Base salary is hardest to negotiate (strict internal bands), Equity is easier, sign-On Bonus is easiest because it comes from a one-time expense pool. Use 70/30 rule (listen 70% of time, ask diagnostic questions). Give a conditional commitment ('If we bring base to $X / add $Y sign-on, I am ready to sign today') but only do this if you are 100% prepared to follow through. If the recruiter or hiring manager goes to bat with their comp committee, gets approval for your exact request, and you backtrack or ask for more, backing out can destroy trust before you even start the job. If you read only one book on negotiation, make it Never Split the Difference by Chris Voss. Two of the most relevant tactical takeaways for salary discussions from the book: Use precise, non-round numbers: A specific number, like $182,500 or $183,400, are more likely to be the result of careful calculation and research. Round numbers (like $180,000) look like guesses and are easier to negotiate down. Manage ranges strategically: If you must give a compensation range early on, know that the employer could very much anchor towards the bottom of the range. If your true target is $185k, make sure it’s included on the lower side of your range.

How does the Bain online assessment work? Any practical tips on how to prepare and approach the test?

Top answer by
Profile picture for Mauro D.
Mauro D.

The online assessment is the SOVA test. It takes 1 hour and 15 mins and include personality questionnaire covering some questions on behavioural preferences. and a numerical / verbal and logical reasoning assessment. To prepare, I find it very useful to do practice with dedicated websites / GMAT questions. Do the test in a very quiet place with no disturb / pause and in a single session.

How does Uber structure its engineering interview process and evaluate candidates during debriefs?

Top answer by
Profile picture for Ketki G.
Ketki G.

When I went through it, there were five rounds: Online Screening -> Coding -> Design & Architecture -> Bar Raiser -> Hiring Manager. Each round had a specific focus. What stood out was how comfortable the interviewers made me feel. Most impressive aspect: evaluated holistically across all rounds during a structured debrief led by the bar raiser, where all interviewers come prepared with notes.

How does Google evaluate TPM candidates in a System Design interview?

Top answer by
Profile picture for Miguel F.
Miguel F.

The system design interview for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) at Google is less about architectural depth (i.e. knowing in details the features of latest and greatest platforms) and more about having a structured, methodical approach to problem-solving and technical program management. At the end of the day, as a TPM, you'd be interacting with PMs and SWEs, and should understand design decisions and trade offs, and have a reasonably educated POV. The expectations change with seniority.

What core competencies does Anthropic test for Product Managers?

Top answer by
Profile picture for Vasu R.
Vasu R.

While other companies focus on "Product Sense" (can you build an app?) and "Execution" (can you move a metric?), Anthropic is essentially looking for a Safety-Conscious Systems Architect. Instead of testing how you’d grow a user base, Anthropic tests how you’d govern a model. They care less about "Growth Loops" and much more about "Redlines," meaning they want PMs who can define exactly when a model becomes too dangerous to ship, even if it’s profitable. The Technical "Why": You aren't just managing APIs; you’re managing Evals. They’ll grill you on how to measure "harmlessness" versus "helpfulness" without neutering the model’s intelligence. Constitutional Intuition: They test your ability to translate human values into model constraints. It’s less about "User Experience" and more about "System Alignment." Agentic Friction: With their focus on "Computer Use," they want to know if you can design the "Human-in-the-loop" guardrails that prevent an autonomous agent from going rogue on a user’s desktop.

What makes Product Management at Stripe unique and what do interviewers look for in PM candidates?

Top answer by
Profile picture for Halim M.
Halim M.

Systems Thinking is Non-Negotiable: Stripe PMs are expected to think in systems — how products interact with each other, how incentives compound, how seemingly small changes ripple through ecosystems. Technical Depth is Expected: Even for non-technical products, PMs are deeply embedded with engineers and are expected to understand architectural tradeoffs, API design principles, and backend implications. Customer Empathy Meets Business Precision: Stripe deeply values user-first thinking and expects PMs to anchor decisions in business impact. High Ownership Culture: PMs at Stripe often operate like mini-GMs. To stand out: Structured, First-Principles Thinking; Show System-Level Awareness; Technical Curiosity; Demonstrate High Standards.
