JJ is currently the Director of Product Management at Zendesk, leading a large team of product managers, designers, and engineers focused on building the next generation of customer success software. He has conducted over 100+ interviews throughout his career and has coached/mentored over 35 individuals. He's been a Senior Product Manager at VSCO focused on building out their data infrastructure and machine learning platform. He was formerly a Product Manager at Apple, where he designed and launched data products enabling content creators to understand trends and optimize their offerings on Apple Music, Apple Books, the App Store, and iTunes. He started his career out as a data analyst and data engineer at Beats Music, before getting acquired by Apple for $3.0 billion USD, which was the company's biggest purchase to date. Outside of work, he loves spending time in saunas, swimming in frigid waters, and exploring the world with his partner.
