More information about Geoff M.

I am a former Senior Release Engineer and Manager at Google, as well as a former Director of Software Engineering at Pandora. I worked in infrastructure since 1995 and was known for building and nurturing high-performing teams. Today, I am retired and focused on interview, leadership, and career coaching. I'm an ICF PCC-accredited coach and have coached over 750 clients over the past 5+ years.
While at Google, I conducted ~200 interviews, primarily for senior-level, staff, and senior staff-level roles (L5-L7). At Pandora, I conducted ~100 interviews for senior-level candidates up to the Director level. I am best leveraged for behavioral, people management, leadership, and backend/infrastructure system design mock interviews. However, I should not...
I conduct resume reviews differently from most coaches. I don't write or rewrite resumes as there are plenty of well-qualified professionals who do that (including AI tools). Instead, I pretend to be a hiring manager who has been handed your resume by a recruiter for an open role on...
This is the work that I love the most because it allows me to make the most significant impact on people's careers. Unlike a mock interview session, which is highly focused on performing well in a time-crunched, intensive environment to secure a job, this type of session delves deeper...
In our current vernacular, management and leadership are often conflated. They are quite different. Management is typically characterized as an authority role, where power in this role is granted in exchange for protection, direction, and order within a team or organization. Leadership is a verb: everyone can (and should)...
In addition to helping clients by conducting mock interviews with feedback, I love educating clients in the people-oriented signals that are a part of the behavioral, sys design, people management, and leadership-focused interviews (even for ICs). These educational sessions are different from mock interviews in that the client directs...
Unfortunately, there’s no set answer to that question as every situation is different. We recommend doing one or two sessions with a coach to get started. They’ll be able to give you an assessment of how many sessions you’ll need overall.
Yes, unused credits can be refunded within 30 days of getting purchased. After 30 days the credits cannot be refunded anymore, but you can still use them at any point in the future.
If you do get a refund it will be corrected for the discount you initially got. As an example, imagine you have purchased 10 credits, and paid 10 x $48 = $480. If you end up only using 5 credits, we will refund you the difference between what you have paid ($480), and what you would have paid had you purchased 5 credits (5 x $50 = $250). So in this specific example we would refund: $480 - $250 = $230.
Credits cost $50 to $40 per credit. The more you buy, the cheaper they get.
Coaches cost 2, 3, 4 or 5 credits per 1h coaching session.
