What excites you most about your new job?

I'm excited about working in a new place with new people. As it's a private company, I think it has good future potential.

Where were you previously?

I worked at General Atomic, a San-Diego based defense contractor.

What was your preparation strategy?

I spent a little over a month preparing. As I was originally targeting Amazon, I started by reading one of the articles on IGotAnOffer's website and prepared about 20 stories for their leadership principle questions. After that I read books on how to prepare for system design interviews, and I did about 5 mock interviews on the platform. I didn't end up getting an offer from Amazon, but after going through their final interview loop, all the other interviews felt easy!

What was the hardest part of the interview process?

Five interviews in one day is pretty exhausting.

Did any of the interview questions stand out?

"What is a key technical problem that you had to solve with your team?" I hadn't prepared an answer in advance for that one, so I struggled a bit.
