What was the hardest part of the interview process?
My biggest challenges were product sense and being more concise.
How did IGotAnOffer help you?
MJ's product sense framework was super helpful in giving me a structure I could follow while also helping me ensure my responses were concise and authentic. 10/10 would recommend!
Do you have any advice for other candidates?
Aside from really focusing on product sense prep, two things really helped me. During behavioral interviews, resist the urge to front-load every detail into your answer. Give a tight, structured overview( STAR works great). Then let the interviewer steer with follow-up questions.
I kept falling into the trap of over-answering, cramming in so much context that my story became hard to follow. The interviewer only cares about certain parts of your story, and they'll ask you about those parts if you give them the chance. Trust the process, keep it crisp, and let the conversation do its job.
Use the last few minutes to leave a lasting impression. When there's not enough time left for a full question-and-answer exchange, don't just coast to the finish line. Deliver a brief closing statement: one reason you're genuinely excited about the role, one reason you can do the job, one reason you'll make an impact fast.
It sounds simple, but in my experience, this kind of intentional close sticks with interviewers. It shapes how they remember you when they're debriefing later. In a competitive process, that memory matters.
