What most excites you about your new job?

Working on a really cool product with a really great team.

Where were you previously?

A company called Outcode Software.

What was your preparation strategy?

I prepared about 5 hours a week for 12 weeks. These are the steps I took: 1. Read Cracking the PM Interview by Gayle McDowell 2. Worked with an interview coach on general strategy and how to tell my story 3. Spent time writing to organize my thoughts on my introduction, my strengths, the key skills I wanted to highlight in interviews 4. Spent time practicing mock interview questions on my own 5. Worked with an interview coach again for more practice 6. Asked for feedback from the companies I interviewed with that didn't make me an offer, so I could learn and improve The end result was that I got offers from three different companies

What was the hardest part of the whole interview process?

Knowing how to tell my story and share my non-traditional background. And dealing with rejection!

Did any of the interview questions stand out?

Not really, I got pretty common questions.
