Tiago is a former BCG Senior Consultant with over five years of strategy consulting experience across +20 projects and more than 10 industries. Tiago has led over 150 interviews at BCG, where he also held a pivotal role in the Lisbon office's recruiting team, leading the recruitment efforts for engineering and post-MBA roles. Tiago is committed to a coaching approach that avoids rote memorization of frameworks, which he believes leads to failure. Instead, he focuses on understanding what consulting firms truly seek, teaching candidates to answer questions in a structured and MECE manner, and practicing until these techniques become second nature. His goal is to prepare candidates to tackle any problem confidently, think like true consultants, and learn how to enjoy the interview process - a key for success. An incoming MBA candidate at Harvard Business School, Tiago holds a MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Lisbon and Politecnico di Milano.
