I'm a former ML Engineering Manager at Meta, where I led 20+ engineers across Ads Ranking and Recommendations, and previously worked on personalization at Booking.com.
I've interviewed 50+ candidates as a hiring manager and recently went through Director-level loops myself. I coach ML engineers and managers on ML system design, EM/Director interview rounds, and salary negotiation - every session ends with written feedback: your level assessment, the gap to target, and concrete next steps.
I've interviewed 100+ candidates as a hiring manager at Meta and Booking.com — ML engineers, applied scientists and engineering managers from mid-level to Staff and Senior EM — across ML system design, coding, system design and behavioral/leadership rounds. I also sat on debriefs and made the final hire/no-hire calls,...
As a hiring manager at Meta and Booking.com, I've screened 500+ resumes for ML engineer, applied scientist, and engineering manager roles, from mid-level to Staff and Senior EM, and made the final call on 20+ hires. I know in seconds what makes a recruiter or HM keep reading versus...
I've made the career moves my clients are trying to make. I broke into big tech (Booking.com, then Meta), relocated across countries and visa systems (Russia → Netherlands → UK on a Global Talent visa), and made the IC→manager jump, growing from engineer to leading 20+ people across Ads...
I've negotiated offers into the £400K+ range this year across several Director-level loops, including restructuring base, equity and sign-on rather than just pushing one number. More importantly, I've been on the other side: as a hiring manager at Meta I built the comp cases recruiters take to approval, so...
I've led ML teams for years — 30+ engineers across Ads Ranking and Recommendations at Meta, and before that, I built a RecSys org from scratch at MTS, hiring and growing the team and the platform together. I've managed managers, run performance and promotion cycles, navigated reorgs (including an...
I mentor ML engineers and engineering managers on the technical and career skills that actually move you up a level. On the technical side: recommender and ranking systems end-to-end — candidate generation, ranking, re-ranking, metrics, cold start, feature freshness, training/serving skew — plus the production ML and system design...
Yes you can use credits with any coach.
Yes, unused credits can be refunded within 30 days of getting purchased. After 30 days the credits cannot be refunded anymore, but you can still use them at any point in the future.
If you do get a refund it will be corrected for the discount you initially got. As an example, imagine you have purchased 10 credits, and paid 10 x $48 = $480. If you end up only using 5 credits, we will refund you the difference between what you have paid ($480), and what you would have paid had you purchased 5 credits (5 x $50 = $250). So in this specific example we would refund: $480 - $250 = $230.
You can cancel or reschedule coaching sessions for free as long as you do so more than 24 hours before the start of your session.
Within 24 hours, it is not be possible to reschedule or cancel your session.
If you fail to attend a coaching session or are more than 15mins late, the session will be considered a "no show" and will be counted as having been used.
One hour might not seem like a lot. But coaches are used to making the most of the time. They’ll come ready to the session so you can cover the topics that are important to you and walk away with concrete next steps.
Coaches’ bios might look intimidating because some of them have worked at big companies and have senior titles. But they’re all genuinely interested in helping you out. They’re here for you, will show empathy, and do their best to help you achieve your goals.
If you aren’t satisfied with one of your coaching sessions for any reason, get in touch with us within 24h of the end of your session and you’ll be eligible for a refund. We refund up to 1 coaching session per user.
About ~25% of coaches on the platform have the SuperCoach badge. Every 3 months, we check if each coach meets the following criteria for the past year. If they do, they earn the SuperCoach badge for the next 3 months.
1. Maintain a 3% or less cancelation rate. SuperCoaches are required to have a cancelation rate of less than 3.0% of bookings they receive. No-shows also count towards the cancellation rate. Low cancellations mean clients can book with confidence.
2. Attain an average rating of 4.8 or higher. SuperCoaches are required to have a 4.80 or higher average overall rating based on reviews from clients over the past year. Clients can therefore expect an great experience when they book with a SuperCoach.
3. Complete 5 or more sessions over the past 12 months. SuperCoaches are required to complete at least 5 sessions over the past year. Clients know they'll be working with coaches who have helped people in similar situations to theirs in the past.
Unfortunately, there’s no set answer to that question as every situation is different. We recommend doing one or two sessions with a coach to get started. They’ll be able to give you an assessment of how many sessions you’ll need overall.
Coaches cost 2, 3, 4 or 5 credits per 1h coaching session.
Credits cost $50 to $40 per credit. The more you buy, the cheaper they get.
