Paul has been an excellent coach. He is invested in my growth & development, offers tactical & actionable advice, and provides insightful perspective into the recruiting process.

I am looking forward to booking more sessions with Paul. His energy and wisdom not only inspire me but also create a very supportive atmosphere. The dreading topic becomes an enjoyable one due to his talent for tackling complex problems. After only one session, I have a lot to think about. I am happy that I don't have to go through this process alone!

Thank you Paul for our career coaching session earlier! Especially for giving me an extra 15 minutes and sending me the actions/inactions summary as a follow-up. I wrote a reflection on our session, in case anyone would be interested in taking a closer look at how my session went. Here it is: -------------------------------------------------------------- Our conversation started around two possible (but opposed) directions we could take in our career coaching session: 1. "What would have to happen between now and the next 5 years, so I can base a cybersecurity company?". 2. Looking into the gap that is between now and later or finding a way to go with the uncertainty. We followed up with the direction of exploring different ideas rather than creating a strict plan. Highlighting the importance of looking into as many possibilities as possible. Challenging me to expose myself to the options with a "What if" mindset. And taking into account my resources, which aren't only about the money, but also about my knowledge, character, and experience. The exploration phase could be done by talking to people and collecting their opinions on my situation (based on the idea that the best research doesn't come from googling, but by picking up the phone and asking around). Asking them for 30 min advice. In regards to the cybersecurity direction, a way to start could be looking into it closely, e.g., volunteering in cybersecurity or shadowing someone in the field for a day. That might bring the reality of the job into view. I could use my network on Linkedin. Overall, taking the time to think, and not rushing into a solution even though the one solution might, in the end, be the one, is important. Not leaping into the answer before research. And once deciding on what direction to go, it is important to have a compelling story. Answering if this new direction is what I want to do.

Paul was great to work with. He provided my feedback filled with constructive criticism. He dedicated actively himself carving up my cover letter and CV. Gave me great advices and offered me great unorthodox approaches. I am greatly thankful for how attentive he was in our first session and how generous with his time he was.
